Everyone remembers the last Corporate Conference. The mere mention of the words send shudders through many Corporate leaders, as they remember what happened that fateful day on that ship. It was a catalyst, a showdown, and most importantly, the prelude to a bloody struggle that resulted in the destruction of cities, the deaths of millions, and a planetary blockade. In this TCH exclusive article, we take a look at an era that has been blotted out of history, we explore the upcoming new conference, and what it means for the Corporate world.
It all began with a series of airborne rides. Corporate leaders across the world were ferried across swaths of ocean to a small inlet near the coast of the British Isles, before they were seared away with atomic fire. In those pre-depression days, several powers dominated the Earth. Notable was the Federation, the largest governmental power of the day, owning much of the continental U.S., among other land holdings spread across the globe. Their leader, President Truman, was one of the leaders flying towards the yacht that fateful day. As for the yacht in question? It was owned by a very current power in an olden form. Chisel Enterprises. This megacorporation was even more powerful, even more world-encompassing in those days, amassing an army of millions, and a consumer base of billions. Their leader owned that yacht, and he was the organizer behind the event. It was meant to bring the corporate and governmental world together. One repulsed air attack later, Mr. Steinbauer uncovered his hidden agenda. It was revealed that the entire conference was a sham; a ploy. It was meant to distract the one man who could lead the Federation in a time of crisis, who was sitting at a table while his country was being razed by Chisel Enterprises armies. The Federation nuclear sites along the old Trump border wall, seized. Their military bases in the South overrun. And most devastating of all, Washington D.C., captured in the span of only a few hours. It was too little, too late, when the Commander-in-Chief heard about the attack, and there was little he could do. In a scuffle, as he was being removed from the yacht, he was shot and killed. And thus, the world spiraled into the only mass Corporate-Governmental conflict in history. In the coming months, conflicts would rage across the United States, Africa, Asia, and Europe, killing countless numbers on both sides. Blood flowed freely, and the smog from burned cities blotted out the sun over swaths of hundreds of miles. Washington D.C. was bombed until it resembled a skeleton of its former self. The prime Federation military site was bombed until it looked like a moonscape. C.E. was subjected to a crippling planetary blockade, an act which drew other Corporate powers such as Black<Con ever closer into the enveloping conflict. Many had to choose sides.

Thankfully, most were spared such a decision. The war ended as it began-suddenly. To this day, nobody really knows when the last shot was fired, or even why. Those massive details have been erased with time, leaving us to only speculate. Did C.E. surrender? Did the Federation surrender? Did they both enter in a cease-fire? Rumors have circulated about massive, extraterrestrial governments being brought into the fray, but these are spotty. Our forefathers knew. We will not.
Those times have left us. The world stage has recently calmed down, but old rivalries could alight once again as easy as a match on dry kindling. The next war could arise at any time. An age-old-adage is that history repeats itself. It is certainly doing so now. C.E. has just announced the C18 Corporate conference, after the C17 Conference was canceled…for obvious reasons. This time, they are running a competition for who will host the event. It is unsure how many will apply, but with a large reward, especially during these trying times, it may just be a large number. C.E. has thus far given little details on the event other than a cryptic advertisement.
Whether history will repeat itself, we will find out.
