Novenæ would be an independent city-state that would serve as the "silicon valley" of corporations. A city where all corporations live in close proximity and harmony with each other and an area for corporation owners to meet and collaborate with each other. Novenæ will serve as the global economic and diplomatic center for all corporations.
The city would be a conjunction of each corporations' efforts- with each corporation being able to contribute buildings, shops, roads, and other necessities as they please. Each corporation will be asked to build at least one embassy within the city limits to give them representation.
The city will take lots of inspiration from modern east Asian cities like Singapore and Tokyo.
Possible Developments
Business District - District for the corporations. Corporate embassies, offices, shops, malls, and anything similar will be permitted to build here.
- The business district will be divided into 60x60 block plots, with each corporation receiving 1 plot by default for them to build their embassy. Corporations may make their buildings as big as they like providing it is within the confines of this plot. However, if a corporation has a plan for a building that will take up multiple plots, please see Oracle9/TheArchiteck/chisel_tip before building it.
- The business district will also house the official Corporate Chamber- a meeting place for each corporation and the official TCH headquarters.
Commercial District (Shopping & Entertainment) - Shops, movie theaters, restaurants, and anything similar will be put in this district.
- Will be divided into plots, any amount of shops can be in one plot.
- Malls and buildings that need more space will be given it based on their size (please contact Oracle9/TheArchiteck/chisel_tip)
Residential District - District for personal housing.
- Houses will also receive a 30x30 plot of land.
- This district will be gated and guarded heavily.
Shipping and Dock - Our shipyard and port
Any corporation willing to build for the city will receive a seat in the city's government. Corporations may offer soldiers who will uphold the law of the city and keep the peace.
I think we could benefit from having one project that's being worked on by multiple corporations. This city would be a demonstration of our abilities when we band together to achieve a common goal- and having corporations in close proximity to each other could promote diplomacy and unity.
